If Rocket Boosters on your shoes are sexist, then Shadow is the most sexist of all.

I was about to say, Raiden’s heels aren’t rocket boosters…</completelymissingthepoint>
But yeah, I will also say this. I honestly don’t understand the complaints of this. Hell, even the rocket boosters aren’t the worst things done to Samus.
*cough*Other M*cough*

I’m not involved with the fandom but from what I can tell are the top two images always dressed like that whereas Samus is usually in big, bulky armor. That would be akin to having Wonder Woman change her outfit into a two piece bikini. Not to mention that in Brawl in her zero suit she has pretty level shoes so it seems weird to have that.
We also have to remember the history of female video game characters being sexualized so often that there can be a knee-jerk reaction to something like this. And you can’t really compare Chell and Samus since Chell
I feel like this comic is a bit of a strawman since I’ve seen people make legitimate arguments and comparing those three doesn’t work quite as well since Raidan isn’t sexualized and  Chell’s shoes are bit too other worldly. Not to mention some people may not have played those games or know the characters so the argument falls flat.
